Interview with Will Allen and M.C. Allen on Prepping for Tomorrow

On this week’s episode of the Prepping for Tomorrow program with Author Bobby Akart, authors Will Allen and his brother M.C. Allen were my special guests. They have collaborated on the hugely successful Walking in the Rain series. With nearly 1,500 reviews, the five installments to date have consistently ranked in the top 100 on Amazon’s post-apocalyptic fiction list since the release of book one almost one year ago.

Post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction, by the nature of the genre, places the characters in a world full of desperation and despair. The Walking in The Rain series is no different. I talked with the Allen boys about what led them to writing in this genre, and got their opinions on the state of world affairs. The collapse event which underlies the series is an EMP attack. We discussed the realities of this threat and got some words of advice from two men who grow up in a small farming community in southeast Texas.
